Qualifications

• Education: Must fulfill all of the requirements for the master's degree in social work in a CSWE-accredited program.
• Active licensure or eligibility for LISW/LCSW/CISW/LMSW at the GS-11/GS-09 level is required, with licensure completion within 9 months.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive biopsychosocial and mental health assessments and formulates diagnostic impressions.
• Responds to urgent and emergent mental health and psychosocial crises in various settings.
• Provides clinical case management addressing medical, behavioral, social, environmental, and cultural determinants of health.
• Provides consultation to medical, behavioral health, and administrative staff on psychosocial factors affecting patient care.
