Requires a minimum of a masters degree from an accredited institution which provides graduate training in social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy. Potential applicants must be licensed or immediately eligible for licensure in Kansas. Applicants with additional addictions licensure (LAC, LCAC) are encouraged to apply, but this is not a requirement.
Starting wage is $73,000/year. Applicants willing to provide dual-diagnosis services could receive an additional increase of $2,000. Sign-on bonus available.

WORK SCHEDULE:
The therapist/alcohol drug counselor is responsible for providing mental health and/or alcohol and drug treatment services (individual, family, and group therapy) within the scope of their license; and providing consultation services to individuals and organizations in the community. The therapist/alcohol drug counselor is expected to adhere to the ethical principles and guidelines set forth by the organizations governing his/her profession and to comply with professional guidelines established by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
