Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology.
• Three or more years of experience as a licensed social worker, counselor or therapist.
• Current and valid state licensure for professional mental health therapist or counselor.
• CPR and de-escalation/ restraint certification required; First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Review progress and effectiveness of clinical programs via live observations and audits.
• Manage and monitor the clinical unit program schedule.
• Provide guidance to direct care staff on treatment delivery and expectations.
• Coach staff through hiring, orientation, performance assessment and engagement.
• Monitor that clinical programming, staffing and documentation comply with regulatory standards.
• Provide clinical consultation and supervision; act as SME on documentation standards.
