Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and four years related work that would demonstrate attainment of requisite job knowledge/abilities, upon hire and
• two years in a charge nurse/leadership position (or equivalent) and
• Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association, upon hire and

Responsibilities

• Manages and evaluates the clinical operations, programs and resources of the assigned clinical area/facility to assure the safe and appropriate delivery of diagnostic and/or therapeutic patient care.
• Plans, manages and evaluates the work of clinical and administrative staff in accordance with internal/external regulations and HR standards; hires and trains staff.
• Ensures all aspects of clinical operations are in compliance with internal policies, standards/procedures, and regulatory requirements; assesses services and patient outcomes to identify improvements.
• Participates in annual budget planning and monitors staffing and expenditures to meet budgetary objectives and control overtime.
• Works with management to ensure consistent operational and clinical practices and drives quality/performance improvement initiatives.
