Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) seeks a seasoned supervisor to lead Mount Pleasant Academy staff. You will oversee clinical and administrative work, ensure crisis intervention coverage, and supervise service provision to clients and families.

The role requires extensive supervisory and program management experience in behavioral health settings. The position emphasizes compliance with regulations, budget oversight, and collaboration with leadership.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.)
• LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or doctorate in psychology/behavioral health
• 10+ years clinical supervisory experience
• 5+ years in day/inpatient children’s psychiatric hospital or 7 years in special education setting
• 5+ years running/supervising an independent program/agency/facility
• Experience with budgeting, fundraising and grants
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, support and guidance to all MPA staff
• Provide emergency crisis intervention/assessment as needed
• Supervise all staff clinical and administrative documentation
• Supervise provision of all services to MPA clients and families
• Oversee the therapeutic milieu of the program
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and guidelines
