Job summary

Seneca Family of Agencies is seeking an Assistant Director of Clinical Services for the Monterey COMPASS Program. The role oversees and implements the mental health treatment program for youth ages 12-17 in a short-term residential setting, in collaboration with the Program Director and STRTP Administrator.

This full-time, hybrid position offers a $111,594–$125,594 annual salary, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life

Qualifications

• Must hold one of the California licenses in good standing (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, licensed psychologist or board-certified psychiatrist).
• At least 2 years post-licensure; must be eligible to provide clinical supervision per CA Board requirements.
• Experience with children/youth and families with intensive mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the STRTP Head of Service.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, therapeutic STRTP environment.
• Ensure mental health assessments for youth admitted to the program.
• Coordinate services to meet the needs of youth and ensure treatment plan delivery.
• Supervise licensed and unlicensed clinical staff.
• Oversee hiring, professional development, evaluation, and termination processes.
