Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred (hospital/clinic/nursing home).
• Completion of Medical Assistant or CNA training preferred.
• Typing speed at least 60 WPM with accuracy.
• Proficiency with EHR platforms (Epic/Athena/Cerner) and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider by documenting visit in real time in the EHR.
• Transcribe HPI, physical findings, and assessment/plan accurately.
• Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation for review and signature.
• Escort patients between waiting area and exam room.
• Record vital signs accurately and update patient info in the EHR.
