Job summary

MBX Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Scientist to provide clinical and scientific expertise across early- and late-stage studies.

The role involves hands-on execution under the supervision of a Director/Senior Director in Clinical Development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to pharmacology, regulatory, and study reporting efforts. You will support the design, execution, and interpretation of trials, work with CROs and sites, and help ensure safety and efficacy

Qualifications

Degree in Life Sciences with hands-on clinical development experience in pharma/biotech.
Experience in metabolic diseases is preferred.
Understanding of drug development from pre-IND to registration.
Ability to communicate clinical information to inform strategy.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and scientific oversight of study execution from start-up to close-out.
Lead authoring of protocols, amendments, and regulatory documents.
Develop study execution plans with cross-functional leads.
Identify and manage study vendors and sites.
Train study teams on medical/scientific aspects of trials.
Monitor safety and efficacy data and report outcomes.
Present data to stakeholders as needed.
