Job summary

ICON plc in Portland, OR is seeking a Clinical Sample Processor I to handle incoming sample shipments, assess specimens, and update the Lab Database. The role includes labeling and validating samples and coordinating transport to technicians for analysis.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma; clinical research exposure is preferred, with lifting up to 25 lbs and basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; experience in clinical research or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily shipments of samples and materials, assess samples on receipt, enter data in the Lab Database, and store samples per protocol.
• Perform quality checks of forms, scan paperwork, archive documentation, and label/validate specimens for transport to technicians.
• Assist with barcode labeling and validation of specimens and coordinate transport within the lab.
