Job summary

ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization seeking a Clinical Sample Processor I for Portland, Oregon. You will receive daily sample shipments, assess them, and enter data into ICON’s Lab Database while storing specimens per protocol.

You will perform barcode labeling, verification of specimens, and transport them to lab technicians for analysis, contributing to accurate and compliant sample processing across trials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; preferred year of relevant access/clinical research industry experience.
• Basic working knowledge of computers and accuracy and attentiveness to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily shipments of samples and materials.
• Assess samples upon receipt and enter data into ICON Lab Database.
• Store samples according to protocol specifications.
• Perform quality checks of forms, scan paperwork, archive documentation.
• Label barcodes and validate specimens; transport to laboratory technicians.
