Job summary

MSD Malaysia is offering a summer internship within its Clinical Safety and Risk Management division. The program runs up to 12 weeks and involves projects that enhance safety surveillance, risk management, and process improvement within a global health care environment.

The intern will gain hands-on experience with safety data, AI-enabled workflow improvements, and cross-functional collaboration while using Microsoft tools and learning about the pharmaceutical safety domain.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a University Program (nursing, pharmacy, pre-medicine preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams is needed.
• Interest or experience in AI is a plus for internship projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and organize safety-related information and trackers for team activities.
• Assist with preparing meeting materials, summaries, action-item lists, or follow-up docs.
• Support updates to training resources, process guides, or team reference materials.
• Help identify opportunities to streamline routine workflows or improve information capture and sharing.
• Use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, or OneNote to support documentation and collaboration.
• Explore AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, knowledge management, or processes.
