Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is partnering with MaineHealth to place travel nurses across MaineHealth facilities in Westbrook, ME. Opportunities include 8, 10, or 13 week assignments with housing options and guaranteed hours.

You will deliver patient care, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate across care teams to ensure smooth transfers and optimal outcomes in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, transfers, discharges, referrals.
• Provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

HWS seeks highly skilled healthcare professionals interested in placement with MaineHealth for an 8, 10, or 13 week assignment based on facility need.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient

What We Require from You:

• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position
