Summary

The Clinical Leader, as an expert practitioner of nursing, oversees and coordinates nursing care for patients with complex health needs. Demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills, and techniques in clinical areas. Utilizes the nursing process to solve complex issues and shows strong leadership in directing and delegating care. Analyzes data to make judgments regarding patient care, flow, and unit operations. Acts as a support and mentor to staff, promotes excellent customer service, encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, and holds staff accountable. Collaborates with Patient Care Directors and Nursing Education to provide feedback and facilitate unit-based education. Plays a role in fostering a culture of compassion, respect, and collaboration. Participates in performance assessments and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, current RN licensure in Massachusetts, BS Nursing or enrolled in an accredited BS Nursing program.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years clinical practice as an RN, with at least 3 years in a similar environment.
• Certification/Licensure: BLS, ACLS, and a specialty certification (e.g., Telemetry, CCRN, Chemotherapy).
• Software/Hardware: Meditech.
