The role requires a California RN license, BLS, IAMTAC, ACLS, and NRP at hire, with either 6 months to 1 year of RN I experience at MarinHealth or unit-specific experience.

Qualifications

• California RN license required to practice in the state.
• BLS from American Heart Association required at hire.
• IAMTAC certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS from American Heart Association required at hire.
• NRP required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Formulates nursing diagnoses by observing physical condition and interpreting information from patient and health team.
• Develops age-specific care plans with patient to ensure safety, comfort, hygiene, and prevention of illness.
• Performs essential nursing actions, explains treatments to patient/family, and teaches self-care.
• Evaluates care plan effectiveness and modifies as needed in collaboration with the team.
• Acts as patient advocate and demonstrates leadership by supervising and delegating care to staff.
