HealthTrust Workforce Solutions partners with MaineHealth to provide travel nurse opportunities across MaineHealth facilities. This program offers 8, 10, or 13 week assignments depending on facility need, with direct deposit pay and guaranteed hours.

Housing assistance or a tax-free subsidy is available, along with strong career development across a broad network. Qualified nurses will have at least one year of acute care hospital experience, relevant certifications, and an accredited degree.

• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.

Responsabilités

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support.

HWS seeks highly skilled healthcare professionals interested in placement with MaineHealth for an 8, 10, or 13 week assignment based on facility need.

What You'll Do:

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient

What We Require from You:

• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position
• Degree from an accredited school
• Abide by code of conduct and compliance policies and expectations
• Ability to communicate clearly and to read, write, speak, and understand English
