CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Manager, Clinical Risk Management to lead hospital risk programs and drive patient safety initiatives. The role oversees adverse event reporting, RCAs, and risk-based improvements across the organization. It reports to Quality leadership and the System Director for Clinical Risk Management.

The position requires RN or clinical degree, plus experience in risk or patient safety. Typical schedule is 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday, with full-time commitment at the hospital.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other clinical degree required.
• Master's degree with relevant clinical experience and evidence of patient safety/risk management training preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Meets expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Conducts system analyses to identify patterns that could result in safety events.
• Designs and implements clinical risk management facility policies.
• Directs and performs investigative activities, including RCAs, witness interviews and reporting.
• Collaborates with System Legal Claims for event reporting and investigations.
• Supports leadership with performance improvement based on safety risks.
• Communicates effectively to different audiences.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office, and Flowchart tools.
• Knowledgeable about High Reliability Principles and PDSA methodology.
