Job summary

UMass Memorial Health, the premier health and wellness partner of Central Massachusetts, seeks a board-eligible or board-certified Clinical Rheumatologist to join the Division of Rheumatology and UMass Memorial Medical Group. This full-time clinical faculty position provides care for autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal diseases within a multidisciplinary setting.

Work-life balance with a Monday–Friday schedule and no on-call duties, outpatient care across Worcester and surrounding

UMass Memorial Health, the premier health and wellness partner of Central Massachusetts and the largest healthcare system in the region, is actively seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Clinical Rheumatologist to join the Division of Rheumatology and UMass Memorial Medical Group. This full-time clinical faculty position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to patients with autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal diseases within a multidisciplinary and patient-centered environment.

  • Comprehensive Outpatient Care: Provide rheumatology services across multiple practice sites, including Worcester, Leominster, Uxbridge, and Marlborough, MA.
  • Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside dedicated specialists and support staff in a newly renovated and expanded Rheumatology Center. Participate in weekly divisional meetings focused on clinical discussions, care coordination, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Interdisciplinary Support: Collaborate closely with specialty pharmacy and clinical support teams to optimize individualized patient treatment plans.
  • Academic and Teaching Opportunities: Engage with trainees and students, contributing to the academic mission of UMass Chan Medical School.

Qualifications
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Rheumatology MD or DO degree with eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts

  • Strong communication skills and interest in teaching and clinical collaboration
