Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking an Academic General Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time position in a busy, family-oriented outpatient setting. The role combines high-quality primary care with teaching responsibilities in our community health center and residency programs, with NP-staffed urgent care nights and weekends and EPIC EMR.

You should be MD/DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, MA license eligibility, and DEA.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Massachusetts.
• DEA certification (or eligible).
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered primary care.
• Ability to manage a broad spectrum of adult acute and chronic conditions.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with patients, families, and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality outpatient primary care and teaching in our community health center.
• Engage in teaching within UMass Internal Medicine Residency and medical student programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams and participate in after-hours urgent care coverage as needed.

Hiring Range: $225,000 - $260,000 Please note that the final offer may vary within this range based on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations
