Job summary

FloMed Infusion, an outpatient infusion clinic, is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Review Registered Nurse to focus on incoming orders and documentation before patient scheduling. This in-office role is based in Delray Beach, FL.

The ideal candidate has an active Florida RN license, 5+ years of RN experience (hospital or infusion setting), and strong interpersonal and regulatory compliance skills. The position emphasizes safety and teamwork to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• RN with current Florida license to practice professional nursing (unencumbered).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; must have graduated from an accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience in hospital or infusion setting.
• Comply with professional standards of practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to interact tactfully with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical records for each patient reviewed and approved by RN.
• Enter appropriately in the patient’s EHR for communication with referring providers.
• Identify safety concerns and document errors in charting.
• Interpret prescriptions and enter them into the EHR after review.
• Assess patient eligibility for administration of prescribed medications.
• Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical team members to facilitate appointments.

We are a Florida-based company with multiple locations in Florida and New Jersey.

We are seeking a Full-Time Clinical Review Registered Nurse to focus on incoming orders and documents, ensuring all requirements are met prior to patient scheduling. This position will operate out of Delray Beach office.

Requirements

• Responsible for the clinical record maintained for each patient clinically reviewed and approved by RN.
• Assures that notes are entered appropriately in patient’s electronic chart for communication with patient’s referring provider.
• Adheres to facility’s policies and procedures.
• Performs complete chart reviews and documents clinical approval appropriately.
• Identifies safety concerns and documentation errors throughout charting from referring providers.
• Appropriately interprets prescriptions and enters them in the EHR once reviewing for all components of a completed prescription.
• Demonstrates competency in evaluating if a patient can appropriately meet requirements for administration of prescription medications.
• Applies enthusiasm and effort towards learning about medications administered at FloMed Infusion in an effort to maintain safety.
• Reviews updated clinical documentation and appropriately assesses patient’s eligibility to continue with treatment.
• Participates and collaborates with other team members, clinical and non-clinical, to facilitate patient appointments.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of Florida.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from an accredited Nursing program.
• Minimum of five (5) years of documented experience as an RN required within a hospital or infusion setting.
• Comply with accepted professional standards of practice.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Analytic/Critical thinker.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, staff, and the community.
• Treat clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect and present a positive public image.
• Understands regulatory compliance, federal regulations including but not limited to OSHA, HIPAA.
