Job summary

Mission Hospital, a part of HCA Healthcare, in Asheville, NC, seeks a Clinical Resources Coordinator to support nursing units by identifying staffing needs and coordinating replacements daily. You will work with the Administrative Supervisor to allocate nursing resources in a cost-conscious way based on census and acuity, while maintaining professional communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED.
• Two years relevant experience in acute healthcare or office setting with a working knowledge of Excel and office.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing units by identifying and replacing staff to fill daily staffing needs.
• Collaborate with Administrative Supervisor to allocate nursing resources cost-effectively per unit census and patient acuity.
• Demonstrate professional communication with internal and external customers via phone and in person.
• Provide timely input into Patient Tracking software and maintain accurate computer records.
• Recruit nursing staff for additional hours as directed and assist with unit projects.
