Clinical Resource Supervisor (RN) | 12 hours per week | Med Surg

Job Details: Scheduled Hours: 6:30am - 7:00pm, every third weekend. Every third weekend and 3 holidays out of 6.

Minimum Hiring Wage: From $43.30 per hour.

Job Description

As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating educational initiatives, training programs, and supervision activities within the clinical setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, exceptional teaching skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. Works closely with departmental managers and directors to support staff and patient needs, including assigning work and real-time coaching.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Board Certified in nursing education, professional nursing development, or acute care preferred
  • Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration
  • Registered Nurse license in Iowa
  • Current and active status on all required trainings and education as per policy
  • BLS/ACLS/Basic Dysrhythmia Certified

Preferred:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Acute Medical Care
  • 2-5 years of experience in adult education
  • Experience as preceptor and mentor for nursing staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
