Qualifications

• MD RN licensure active required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Maintain 10 contact hours of education every two years.
• BSN preferred and professional involvement encouraged.
• Membership in a professional organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent care to unit-specific patient populations and act as a clinical resource.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate care.
• Serve as primary coordinating nurse; lead in care delivery and outcomes.
• Support relationship-based care and contribute to quality indicators.
• Participate in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and governance.
• Provide mentorship and orient new staff to unit practices.
