Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Supervisor Clinical Research to coordinate multiple research projects under supervision and to oversee a team of staff. The role includes writing SOPs, creating training materials, and coordinating with IRBs and CROs.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a medical or science field and 5 years of clinical research experience. Knowledge of HRPP/IRB, and potential CPR/CPR-AED certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of clinical research terminology, regulations, and procedures.
• Strong computer skills: spreadsheets, databases, web-based software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
• Ability to handle confidential PHI and protect patient information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate protocols and HRPP/IRB compliance for studies.
• Develop and update study protocols and SOPs.
• Oversee data collection and timely reporting to sponsors.
• Supervise two lower level clinical research staff and coordinate team activities.
• Ensure regulatory audits readiness and sponsor communications.
