Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in high school or higher education program.
• 0–1 years related work experience.
• Basic familiarity with computers and basic web navigation.

Responsibilities

• Learns about the process and assists study team with recruitment and enrollment of patients onto clinical trials according to study protocols.
• Assists in checking eligibility criteria with patients’ medical records and verifies information with the research team.
• Learns informed consent concepts and assists in patient discussions and scheduling follow-up tests.
• Learns protocol adherence and helps monitor compliance by physicians, nurses and patients.
• Learns how to extract data from hospital records to complete case report forms and enters data into a computerized system.
