Job summary

Bethany Medical Research, affiliated with Bethany Medical, seeks an RN to join the clinical research team in North Carolina. The role combines nursing with study coordination, patient visits, data entry, and regulatory support.

The ideal candidate will have RN licensure, applicable degrees, and phlebotomy/BLS certifications, with experience in clinical trials preferred. This is an on-site position requiring direct patient care and study participation.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Phlebotomy certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Clinical research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct Phase I–IV studies per protocol and GCP.
• Screen, enroll, and conduct study visits as required.
• Review medical records against protocol criteria.
• Obtain medical histories, vitals, labs, and ECGs.
• Perform venipuncture and IV placement within scope.
• Administer investigational products and medications when appropriate.
• Monitor participants for adverse events and safety concerns.
• Enter data into EDC and resolve data queries.
• Maintain regulatory and training documents.
• Coordinate scheduling and lab tests for protocol-required services.
