Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to lead day-to-day recruitment of research subjects across multiple disease areas, collaborating with the Clinical Research Program leadership, investigators, and study teams.

You will screen, consent, schedule visits, and maintain records to support enrollment goals, advancing medical knowledge and patient care. A bachelor’s degree plus one year of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant program experience required.
• Experience in subject recruitment for research studies preferred.
• Ability to review informed consent forms and educate participants.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit potential participants using EHR reports, screening clinics, and referrals; pre-screen and assess eligibility.
• Coordinate scheduling of screening visits with investigators and study teams; maintain accurate recruitment records.
• Create and manage recruitment tasks; monitor follow-ups to support timely enrollment.
• Develop recruitment materials for programs and ensure website content is up to date.
• Collaborate with sponsors, providers, and research staff to connect eligible subjects to studies.
• May assist with in-person recruitment or study visits as needed.
