Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Clinical Research Project Manager to oversee multiple clinical research studies and supervise Clinical Research Coordinators. The role acts as the primary liaison with sponsors, IRB, core labs, site P.I.s, and study staff, coordinating initiation, recruitment, and start-up timelines in a fast-paced environment at 55 Fruit Street.

Candidates typically hold a Master’s or higher and have 5–7 years of research experience with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises operations of all study staff.
  • Communicate cross-functionally with Research Management/Clinical Trials Office, MGB Healthcare Finance, MGH Legal Offices, MGB Innovation office, and scientific collaborators.
  • Prepare budgets for research sponsors, including commercial, foundations and federal funding sources, in collaboration with relevant Grants Administration and Research Management staff; use most updated MGB research budget templates, for grant submissions for CfAA-related funding.
  • Help to ensure accurate and efficient budgeting.
  • Writes operations manuals.
  • Participates in the formulation of policies and procedures for the study.
  • Prepares Case Report Forms.
  • Coordinates multi-center trials with NIH, FDA and Private foundations.
  • Reports study progress at investigators' meetings.

Job Summary

Responsible for the management of multiple clinical research studies and the direct hiring and supervision of Clinical Research Coordinators. Serves as the key liaison with the sponsor, IRB, core laboratories, site P.I.'s, as well as all levels of study staff. Will also coordinate trial initiation, patient recruitment, and expedite project approval and study start-up time. Responsibilities also include participation in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for the projects, developing advertising strategies to support recruitment activities, oversee budget management and subcontracts with associated institutions. This role may be ideal for individuals who have a Master's or above and who are interested in community-based interventions, aging, neuroscience, home health care, innovative and accessible models of health care delivery, health equity, and outcomes research.

Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or MS/MA/MPH/MPP or other Master's equivalent or above degree preferred.
