Job summary

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse I to support early-stage clinical trials under supervision. You will provide direct patient care to participants receiving investigational therapies and assist with education for patients and families throughout the trial.

The role emphasizes adherence to GCP/HSP, accurate data documentation, and collaboration with PI, research staff, and the medical team to ensure protocol compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; must be obtained within 4 years of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Excellent attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to inpatients and outpatients receiving investigational therapy.
• Screen and recruit potential research participants and assist with eligibility verification.
• Educate patients and families regarding investigational therapy with the medical team.
• Schedule study assessments as required per protocol.
• Assist with medication preparation and administration per protocol.
• Assist with evaluation and management of research patients for drug and/or disease-related toxicities and symptoms.
