Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse I to support inpatients and outpatients participating in investigational studies. You will work under the PI or designee, providing care, education and support throughout trials, with duties spanning patient care, data entry and regulatory support.

The role emphasizes early-career development in clinical research, adherence to GCP/HSP standards, and collaboration with the medical team.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; must be obtained within 4 years of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care to inpatients and outpatients receiving investigational therapy.
Screen and recruit potential research participants and assist with eligibility.
Educate patients and families about investigational therapy with the medical team.
Schedule study assessments per protocol.
Assist with preparation and administration of study medications.
Monitor drug- and disease-related toxicities and symptoms.
Maintain Good Clinical Practice and related trainings.
Collaborate with staff to initiate and manage clinical trials.
