Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Division of Clinical Research Services in a full-time role. You will care for research participants, perform assessments, ensure informed consent, and adhere to protocols in a dynamic clinical research environment.

Must hold an Ohio RN license, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and 2+ years of related experience; some travel to other Cincinnati Children’s locations will be required; comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Requires clinical license and active Ohio RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/participant care within the clinical research environment following study protocols and safety standards.
• Assess participants and families, prioritize needs, and support protocol-specific implementation and adherence goals.
• Ensure informed consent is obtained correctly and educate participants on purpose, procedures, risks, and rights.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document effectively, and maintain regulatory-compliant records.
• Assist with process improvement and participate in shared governance within the research nurse forum.
