Job summary

Denali Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our Atlanta team on a PRN basis, offering flexible scheduling while supporting our clinical trial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in clinical research nursing and the ability to work independently in a dynamic research environment.

The required qualifications include a Georgia RN license, 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience, and a valid BLS certification, along with excellent communication

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Valid BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and data capture systems.

Responsibilities

  • Screen, enroll, and conduct study visits per protocol.
  • Perform clinical assessments, vital signs, phlebotomy, ECGs, and related procedures.
  • Administer investigational products per protocol specifications.
  • Document accurately in source documents and electronic data capture systems.
  • Monitor patient safety and report adverse events per regulatory requirements.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures and consent.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with FDA, ICH-GCP, and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with PIs, study coordinators, sponsors, and CROs.
  • Assist with patient recruitment and retention activities.
  • Maintain study supplies, equipment, and specimens.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Nurse to join our Atlanta team on a PRN basis. This position offers flexible scheduling while providing critical support to our clinical trial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in clinical research nursing, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic research environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient screening, enrollment, and study visits according to protocol requirements
  • Perform clinical assessments, vital signs, phlebotomy, ECGs, and other study-related procedures
  • Administer investigational products and medications per protocol specifications
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in source documents and electronic data capture systems
  • Monitor patient safety and report adverse events in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Educate patients and families about study procedures, informed consent, and expectations
  • Maintain regulatory compliance with FDA, ICH-GCP, and institutional guidelines
  • Coordinate with Principal Investigators, study coordinators, sponsors, and CROs
  • Assist with patient recruitment and retention activities
  • Maintain study supplies, equipment, and laboratory specimens
Required Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
  • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and data capture systems
  • Flexibility to work as needed based on study demands
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous clinical research experience
  • CCRP or ACRP certification
  • Experience with Phase I-IV clinical trials
  • Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and FDA regulations
  • Phlebotomy certification
  • Experience in neurology, psychiatry, wound care, or other specialty therapeutic areas
  • Bilingual capabilities, Spanish or other languages
