The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Department of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator I. The Clinical Research Nurse in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology coordinates and supports oncology clinical research studies involving pediatric patients. This position is responsible for ensuring protocol compliance, coordinating patient care activities related to research participation, collecting and maintaining accurate clinical data and specimens, and serving as a liaison between patients, providers, sponsors, and research teams. The role also supports regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), IRB, and sponsor requirements to ensure the successful conduct of oncology clinical trials.
