Qualifications

Position Title: Clinical Research Nurse (CRN)

Location: Celebration, FL (Initial training in Orlando for initial 4-6 months; local travel required)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexibility required based on patient scheduling)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Research Nurse to join an expanding research team. This position coordinates all aspects of clinical research, including participant recruitment, eligibility screening, informed consent, biospecimen collection, and protocol compliance. You will serve as the primary clinical point of contact for research participants, investigators, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Participant Care & Management: Execute informed consent processes, screen potential candidates for trial eligibility, conduct participant follow-ups, and deliver concierge-level support throughout study lifecycles.
• Clinical Support: Perform clinical tasks within scope of practice, including assisting physicians and advanced practice providers with minor procedures, physical assessments, phlebotomy, IV insertion, and investigational drug administration.
• Data & Compliance: Maintain accurate research records, manage HIPAA-compliant databases linking patient records to biospecimens, and ensure precise data entry into registry systems.
• Operations & Collaboration: Work closely with a team of research coordinators, laboratory, pharmacy, and regulatory support staff to ensure compliant protocol execution and resource conservation.

Qualifications

Required

• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
• Clinical & Technical Competencies: Strong skills in phlebotomy, IV insertion/administration, physical assessment, and handling investigational drugs in accordance with organizational policies.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred

• Therapeutic Experience: Prior experience in Gynecology (GYN) or Oncology clinical trials is strongly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Certifications: Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP).
• Background: 1–2 years of experience in life sciences, biomedical, or clinical research.
• Languages: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
