Summary

Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Collaborates in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes. Furthers professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support study implementation within the context of the care delivery setting and are primarily located in dedicated clinical research settings
• Responsible for study coordination and data management
• Manage subject recruitment and enrollment, consistency of study implementation, data management and integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting
• Conducts screening procedures for study enrollment eligibility
• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care need during enrollment in clinical trial
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and trial management
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy research environment

• Must be a registered nurse in the state of Georgia

Shift

Monday - Friday 8a-5p with a flexible schedule if needed
