Job summary

University of South Florida is seeking a Clinical Research Manager to lead the unit's clinical research portfolio. You will supervise Clinical Research Coordinators, train staff, and ensure quality data collection across studies in alignment with protocols and PIs.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, SOP development, and site-level coordination with sponsors and vendors. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday during standard hours; the position is grant-funded and not visa-sponsoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• SB 1310: Florida Senate eligibility considerations for employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the clinical research unit.
• Organize activities and establish timelines for studies.
• Recruit, evaluate, lead, mentor, and train Clinical Research Coordinators I-III.
• Develop and evaluate site SOPs; recommend process improvements.
• Monitor single-site research activities for SOP and GCP compliance.
• Manage resources for assigned clinical research areas to achieve goals.
• Serve as the site liaison with sponsors, vendors and patients; represent the PI.
