Qualifications

• Master's degree in appropriate area or bachelor's with two years of experience.
• Preferred: RN, BSN, Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) with UF College of Medicine research experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct, and manage all OB/GYN department sponsored projects, including award management, compliance, contract negotiation, budgeting, invoicing sponsors, and monitoring study progress to ensure alignment with institutional policies and regulations.
• Manage the review process for grant and contract awards, ensuring compliance with sponsor and University regulations while supervising negotiations with grant and contracting officers to advocate for appropriate budget requests and terms.
• Update and maintain faculty Curriculum Vitae monthly to reflect all studies and publications accurately, ensuring faculty and UFCOM research FTE reporting is conducted in a timely manner ahead of effort period deadlines.
• Coordinate and facilitate a quarterly Scholarly Activity Forum, collaborating with the CRM and administrative team members to support design and execution of the forum while documenting costs associated with scholarly activities with the business manager and CRC II for accurate and timely entry.
• Collaborate with the business manager and CRC II to document declared and miscellaneous costs associated with scholarly activities, resolve discrepancies with Payroll, conduct final reviews before submission to the Department Administrator, and assist in the preparation of the annual department budget related to research and scholarly activities.

Education

Master's degree in appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in appropriate areas of specialization and two years of experience.
