Job summary

CPC Clinical Research offers a college internship in clinical research management, starting January 2027 for up to 12 months. The role provides exposure to TMF, regulatory submissions, CTMS, trial operations, and site start-up activities.

You will shadow physicians and team members, participate in meetings, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced research environment. Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate scientific field program, be able to attend in-person training,

Qualifications

• Enrollment in undergraduate or graduate scientific field degree program
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Great attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Responsibilities

• Prepare slides for monthly staff meetings
• Assist in scientific Lunch & Learns: speaker selections, slide prep, meals, room setup
• Attend clinical trial operations calls and take minutes
• Shadow physician faculty in clinic
• Learn Trial Master File (TMF) functions and complete TMF submissions and checks
• Support regulatory submissions and public trial registries for Sponsored trials
• Shadow Site Operations team for study site start-up and regulatory docs
• Learn CTMS functionality
• Learn role of IRBs and complete IRB submissions
• Learn budgeting with the finance team
• Attend Site Endpoint Evaluation Visits (SEEVs)
• Attend 6-Minute Walk Test or other functional endpoint trainings
• Shadow on safety topics: medical monitoring, narrative writing, DSMB, adjudication, committee management
