Job summary

The Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study (ADCS) at UC San Diego Health Sciences seeks a Clinical Research Data Analyst to deliver informatics, data management, and reproducible analyses within OMOP CDM and EHR data. You will collaborate with scientists, operations, biostatistics, and others to meet study deliverables, develop queries, and support UAT testing.

Ideal candidates have experience with Python/R/SQL, Bash, Databricks, Epic, and a solid foundation in healthcare data standards and

Qualifications

Six years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's in a related field plus two years of experience.
Experience with statistical and data management programming (Python, R, SQL) and Linux Bash.
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare data standards (OMOP, CDISC, HL7, FHIR).
Ability to communicate complex information clearly in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

Deliver informatics and data management activities for assigned studies with high quality.
Develop and validate database queries within OMOP CDM and EMR data sources.
Support target trial emulation studies and assist in data transfer and vendor reconciliation.
Collaborate with Clinical Research Scientists, Operations, Biostatistics and others to meet study deliverables.
