Job summary

UC San Diego's Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study (ADCS) seeks a Clinical Research Data Analyst to deliver informatics and data management for multi-site trials. You will develop and validate database queries within the OMOP CDM, identify eligible cohorts, and support data transfer and quality checks.

The role requires experience with Python, R, SQL, and eHR systems in a Linux environment. You will collaborate with clinical scientists, operations, and biostatistics to meet study deliverables,

Qualifications

• Six years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's in a related field plus two years of experience.
• Experience with statistical and data management programming (Python, R, SQL) in a Linux (Bash) environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare data standards.
• Experience in clinical research informatics and with eHR systems (Databricks, Epic).
• Excellent ability to communicate complex information clearly in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver informatics and data management activities for assigned studies with high quality and timeliness.
• Develop and validate database queries within the OMOP CDM to support cohort identification and analyses.
• Assist in data transfer, validation, and reconciliation with project teams.
• Support UAT and ensure solutions align with the Statistical Analysis Plan.
• Interact with data standards models and ensure data integrity across projects.
