Job summary

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a seasoned operations leader to manage the business and finance operations for the Nebraska Center for Clinical and Translational Research (NeCCTR) and related units.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and centralized clinical trial invoicing for industry-funded studies, coordinating with VCR leaders to ensure financial integrity and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Management, Finance, Public Health or related field.
• Will consider additional related post high school education in lieu of required experience.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Clinical Trials Financial, general accounting and personnel management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage the business and finance operations for NeCCTR and its units.
• Coordinate with VCR Directors of Business Operations, Research Finance Operations and Operations.
• Oversee campus-wide centralized clinical trial invoicing for industry-funded research.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting for the unit.
