Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD required in relevant field.
• 1+ years of experience with secondary data research and study design/data analysis.
• Academic medical center health system or clinical research environment preferred.
• Peer‑reviewed publications and grant writing track record required.
• Project management experience including planning, reporting, stakeholder engagement, SOP development.
• Must reside in or relocate to the Columbus, OH region.

Responsibilities

• Designs experiments, develops protocols, and conducts independent research.
• Supervises and mentors junior staff; trains technical support staff.
• Records and analyzes data; develops hypotheses for further investigation.
• Prepares scientific papers for publication; presents findings; drafts grant proposals.
• Collaborates with ongoing research efforts at NCH or The Ohio State University.
• Prepares proposals to obtain external funding.
