Qualifications

• Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in science or health-related field.
• Strong interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and families in a courteous, professional manner.
• Gathers, packages, stores and transfers slides, samples and other materials; coordinates shipment.
• May assess study subjects per protocol and, if trained, draw blood or take vital signs.
• Ensures protocol compliance and proper documentation.
• Follows regulatory requirements (IRB, approvals) as needed.
• Acts as an internal auditor during quarterly internal audits under supervision.
• Maintains regular contact with patients to encourage visit reminders and compliance.
• Collects and inputs data into databases or CRFs; supports publications data collection.
• Recruits and screens potential patients for eligibility.
