Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support start-up, recruitment, screening, enrollment and data maintenance for multiple trials. The role involves coordinating with internal departments and external agencies to ensure study execution according to protocols.

The candidate will assist in regulatory compliance, data management, and training of staff. Strong communication in English and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience performing clinical research duties in a clinical research environment.
• Experience using Velos, Access, Excel and MS Word for data management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-up procedures, recruitment, screening, enrollment, and maintenance of study subjects.
• Liaise with UCSD departments and agencies for study implementation and information materials.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and manage data quality across studies.
• Provide training and backup support to research center activities as needed.
