The role involves coordinating all activities of a clinical research study, working with investigators, and supporting study meetings, recruitment, consent, data management, and IRB submissions in a hybrid School of Medicine setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Additional education or experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
• Related undergraduate or work experience in human subjects research.
• Experience with data management and databases, preferably REDCap.
• Experience in working with individuals with serious mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities of a clinical research study to ensure adherence to protocol and validity of findings.
• Assist in coordinating study meetings and provide updates on protocol implementation status.
• Explain study background and rationale to potential and current participants.
• Assist participants during imaging at affiliated centers as needed.
• Obtain and maintain knowledge of the assigned clinical protocol and systems.
• Oversee budget expenditures for study operations.
• Recruit, consent, and perform clinical and cognitive measures on patients.
