Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follows SOPs and GCP; prepares documents for sponsor agencies; attends investigator meetings.
• Understands and conducts studies including emergent access/compassionate use and multi-site trials.
• Manages parental permission/assent processes and schedules participant visits.
• Performs data gathering, monitors data integrity, maintains databases; responds to queries.
• Trains nursing and staff; coordinates with departments for protocol compliance.
• Identifies, reports and follows up on adverse events and problems.
• Maintains study medication accountability with the research pharmacist.
• Prepares specimens for shipment; follows procedures and documentation.
• Coordinates monitoring with sponsor; completes CRFs; responds to sponsor queries for audits.
• Participates in process improvements and audit preparations.
