Job summary

University of Minnesota is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Coordinator (Research Professional 2) for the Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences department. The role supports recruitment, regulatory tasks, and coordination of interventional clinical trials across sites, in a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include a BA/BS with two years of relevant experience or six years total; strong attention to detail and English communication skills; willingness to obtain required immunizations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus at least two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination
• Strong attention to detail, conscientiousness, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment with varied colleagues
• Willingness to obtain required immunizations for clinical environments

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, consent, data collection and enrollment of study participants
• Identify, report adverse events and protocol deviations; support regulatory documentation
• Coordinate clinical trial activities across sites per GCP and university policies
• Collaborate with PI and team to build study orders, track metrics, and provide status updates
• Contribute to study start-up, IRB applications, and regulatory submissions
• Assist in development of research protocols, publications, and grant sections
