Job summary

The University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine, seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator A for the OBGYN-GYN Oncology division in Philadelphia. You will screen patients, enroll subjects, coordinate scheduling, and handle biological samples and study data within multiple externally funded trials.

Responsibilities include IRB filings, manuscript/grant support, and mentoring research staff. Position contingent on funding; base salary reflects Penn’s compensation practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients, enroll subjects, schedule, collect, store and ship biological samples; collect and file study documents; and enter clinical data.
• Assist with Institutional Review Board (IRB) filings and inquiries and with manuscript preparation, grant proposals, and research-related presentations.
• Oversee 2+ clinical trials, maintain protocol integrity, ensure data and queries are answered timely, and report AEs/SAEs to sponsor/IRB per protocol.
• Assist with trial audits and inspections and mentoring of research assistants.
