The role you’ll contribute:

The Clinical Research Coordinator II RN (CRC-II RN) serves the AdventHealth Research Institute (AHRI) to plan, coordinate, evaluate, and perform nursing care of participants and data collection for research projects. The CRC-II RN follows study protocols, communicates with investigators, research staff, and sponsors, and advocates for patient safety while adhering to industry standards, FDA regulations, and ICH/GCP guidelines.

• Deliver safe care respecting participant dignity and rights
• Maintain clinical competencies (physical assessment, phlebotomy, IV insertion)
• Practice Universal Precautions and HIPAA regulations
• Maintain a clean, prepared clinical space and assist in setup/turnover
• Participate in training to maintain licensure
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team, patients, and research sponsors
• Review and ensure informed consent process compliance
• Manage multiple protocols, documentation, records, and study materials securely
• Advise investigators on protocol conduct, deviations, and safety issues
• Coordinate support staff and ensure research quality and compliance
• Prepare and review documentation for study startup, modifications, and closures

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

• Minimum 2 years of Clinical Research experience
• Current, active State of Florida license as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Experience in the assigned specialty area
• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC)
• ACLS certification
• Additional certifications relevant to the clinical role (e.g., medical assistant, phlebotomy)
