Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to assist investigators in coordinating a complex study, liaising with sponsors, community, and participants. The role manages all phases of the study protocol and ensures regulatory compliance.

The position involves developing plans, writing manuals, coordinating data collection, and preparing reports. A Bachelor’s degree and BLS certification within the first month are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
• Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirement).

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing plans for research projects and discusses interpretation of results; assists in preparing manuscripts and grant proposals.
• Coordinates development of forms, questionnaires and application of research techniques; writes manuals for study progress and data collection.
• Implements and manages all phases of study/protocol; ensures compliance with protocol guidelines and regulatory requirements; maintains records and analyzes progress.
• Evaluates and interprets collected clinical data; prepares presentations or reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
