Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Research Coordinator II to oversee day-to-day activities of research protocols and determine patient qualification for studies. The role involves data collection, documentation, and ensuring participant safety under minimal supervision, with administrative support for the study.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of research experience. Preferred certifications include CCRC or CCRP to bolster expertise in clinical research

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four years of research experience required.
• Experience coordinating research protocols is preferred.
• CCRC or CCRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft communications with Sponsor and regulatory documents.
• Identify and recruit clinical research subjects and monitor enrollment goals.
• Coordinate pre-site visits, site initiation visits, and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain source documentation and ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Support PI meetings and IRB document preparation and approvals.
